Every summer, the scenic town of Pagosa Springs becomes an epicenter of horse activity. For the first time, viewers across America can catch a glimpse of everyday life at the picturesque Parelli Campus. The Horseman’s Apprentice is the next edition in the evolution of the Parelli Natural Horsemanship TV series.

Pat Parelli’s students will not only learn from the master himself, but also help run the training facility. The Horseman’s Apprentice will give audiences worldwide an unprecedented glimpse into what it’s like to live and work on the Pagosa Springs campus. Be witness to everything from rocky trail rides and cattle drives to open mic nights at the local brewery and trips to the hot springs!

Pat puts his youthful students, former elementary school teachers, ranch hands, and horsemen from all stretches of the world, through the ropes each and everyday. Watch the apprentices hitch up a team of Belgian draft horses, train fresh colts, and take the show on the road. From scooping manure to bringing a skittish horse on stage in front of an expectant audience, the apprentices constantly struggle to live up to Pat’s exacting challenges. The days are long and the work is tough, but they stay because they believe in the program. They stay to learn from the best.
